Why do you keep going on about taking 5 people to write it, most artists collaborate, a lot of Queen songs had 4 people involved in writing them, Adam just happens to not have an actual band so co-writes with others, it's what people do, and who cares, whether the song is good is what matters.

Queen and AL are different entities when it comes to song writing by the way. You are comparing apples to oranges.
Read a little teaser of the lyrics for Roses, those lyrics aren't special at all, IMO. Really, I hope he was taking the piss with the teaser.

He was crediting the people involved in the song and whether Queen as a band (or any other band for that matter) are different from Adam as a solo artist isn't really the point, the fact is in a band you have a bunch of people all contributing to the writing of a song whereas a solo artist collaborates with various people, the end result is a bunch of people all go to making the song in a lot of cases and it's not all lyrics there's the actual musical composition as well, no way to know who did what among the five.
Why should he be taking the piss with the lyrics, they're out of context, lyrics sound different once they're part of a whole song with music. As for comparing - no I'm not but Queen have their share of songs where they lyrics were nothing special at all, some of their stuff is more about the composition, melody lines, harmonies, guitar parts etc, when you break down the lyric content there's not a lot there but they still sound amazing the way they're put together.
Completely nondescript vocals. No character in his voice.

I like when I can hear the lyrics and, unfortunately, most of today’s music is garbled. I wish Adam had chosen to be different since his diction is so excellent!
