1973 Danny Sugarman review of Queen debut album

Just found this by accident while I was looking for something else. Published in the USA in 1973, it probably hasn't seen the light of day since then. The review is by 19 year old Danny Sugarman, who is mainly known for his writing about Jim Morrison and The Doors.

Given the current shambolic state of this forum, and the amount of new, clueless fans of the movie, I reckon only a few people on here will recognise how important this find is. You're welcome :)

I found a different 1973 review of Queen I and posted it in the sharing section about a year ago.

That's a glowing review if I ever read one. It is a really solid album. Most of the Queen ideas and style are there, light & shade and all. A bit raw and on the heavy side but impeccably performed.

I'm guessing he enjoyed it, then :D
