Well, as Races was considered a companion, then why not? I'll play along.

I think the "double can be split nicely between Freddie / non-Freddie Compositions:

A RACE AT THE OPERA

Side 2: Somebody To Love>> Seaside Rendezvous>> You Take My Breath Away>> Bohemian Rhapsody
Side 3: Tie Your Mother Down >> '39>> I'm In Love With My Car >> Sweet Lady>> Long Away>> Good Company >>Drowse

Not that I know of. The LPs were natural stablemates, but I doubt a double would've been a career option at that time.

I think the flow of both albums is so good, it's difficult to actually think of them as a "double", which would mean a butchering of some songs and a tinkering of the running order.

I'm not a big fan of The Prophet's Song, but it flows so nicely into Love Of My Life. I'm not to keen on Seaside Rendezvous or White Man either, but their omission might be disruptive.

Bohemian Rhapsody is such a natural album closer, but then again so is Teo Torriatte. Argghhhh. No, I'd just leave them alone :)

Interesting concept embraced w brenski's interesting mix.

I jusT know they were a year apart and function very well as is.

ANATO is seamless and virtually flawless!

It even had it's own bathroom break! (Sweet lady)

Holy crap, this is in the wrong forum.
