Queen - Definitive Sao Paulo 1981 (Likely not the "Pre-FM Master")

Finally received this today, Mega folder contains the 2 CD + DVD, the DVD is the original VHS source we had before with the CD's audio. Not fully sure if this really is a full upgrade considering the previous Wardour pre-fm bootleg, but it is what it is.

Well i don't have any other sources here to compare soundwise but they seem to have edited the old DJ commentaries, in the middle of STL for example. It is a bit harsh, I think. Nevertheless, thank you. :)

Get Down Make Love is also severely cut, it is only 40s...

Is this a new source or was it just EQ'd to have a bit more bottom end?

And how can it truly be a pre-FM if a song is only 40 seconds long?

Either way, it sounds great - thanks for posting !

I noticed something interesting in the DJ Intro track. I'm Brazilian and noticed that the commentary in that track is in Portuguese but someone from Portugal, not Brazil. The accent is very different. Anyway, is it possible that this is a different version that was broadcasted in Portugal somehow? Regardless , it sounds great.

Thanks, is it possible the audio CD's are taken from the TV broadcast tape rather than Radio?
