I was there Philipp, the view is amazing and what was interesting for me to discover that I had been dreaming of visiting the place and seeing the statue for my very own eyes and when I actually did it, it did not move me.
Yes, the statue is the object of adoration but what moved me was the fact that my view was graced by the same landscape that graced Freddie Mercury in the 80's and 90's when he was looking at the lake. This is the connection that really left a mark and I recommend every Queen fan to go there and experience this.

FWIW, I'm not angry either.
My post was not intended to be taken seriously, i.e. someone made an over-the-top comment (hanging/firing squad) and I responded with an equally ridiculous comment - in the style of Monty Python's Four Yorkshiremen.
Instead, if I had said:- "The perpetrator(s) should be put in a space cannon and fired at the sun" - would this have made it clearer?
Somebody once said that irony doesn't work on the internet. Maybe they were right.

Freddie's Statue has been vandalized twice the last time was indeed July,i had not seen it reported on Queenzone ,hence that's why I mentioned it.It would be great if we had a statue of Freddie in the UK.Any ideas of where would be the best place to have it sited?

Wasn't it the Kensington council that put the block on it? Saying they did not want Kensington to end up like Graceland or something to those word's? A bit snobby if it's true.
Bowie got a statue in Aylesbury, Hyde park would be a good place to put a Freddie statue but It'll never happen

There is a 20-foot high statue in Roger's garden. It's the one he nabbed from the Dominion Theatre after the WWRY musical ended its run. Mind you, if you trespass on his property to get a look at it he will likely shoot you with his pellet gun.

Oh never mind.... we're past that part. For the record METALHEAD ZONE and other such things are bogus clock bait sites that list sometimes old things but mostly simply EXAGGERATED headline stories about nearly everything.
Just Google search a favorite band and you'll find a Metal head zone fabrication or three
