I know for a fact that John Deacon would not like Adam doing Freddie's job because he hated Robbie Williams doing that.
To me John was the only guy who got out at the correct time before the embarrassment set in with Lambert. Good on John !
But John would be pleased about how AL has played a part in increasing Queen's popularity.

Robbie was a one-off appearance - just one song and video, no concerts. It hardly made a difference to Queen's fanbase.
Why would he be pleased that he'd rape his songs

Compare Queen's album sales now compared to ten years ago. The more and more years into Queen's collaboration with AL there have been more sales of Queen's back catalogue. I'm sure he'd be pleased that there is more people buying his albums he'd helped produce for 26 years.

I think all fans should appreciate that the movie and AL has helped Queen become the most popular classic band in the world at the moment despite personal opinions. If I didn't like Q+AL I'd still be thankful that it's here because it's certainly helped turning strangers into Queen fans.

Yep, I can just imagine the Glamberts buying Queen II because they think BoRap is on it and hearing the first notes of Ogre Battle ...

I think are many Glamberts who don't bother to look deeper in the back catalogue. Shame, because the catalogue is full of gems.

Ain't that the truth. Most of my favorite Queen songs are album tracks(MOTBQ/Brighton Rock/Lily of the Valley) or singles that didn't go far(Play the Game) or end up on a Greatest hits album(Spread Your Wings/It's Late).

In all honesty, my favorite song, by anyone, is Bohemian Rhapsody. It's a heck of a song in many ways, in my opinion.
It's galls me that people come to Queen boards just to promote AL and ignore Freddie and Queen. There is so much more to Freddie and Queen if one bothered to look deeper, like never before the music and information is out there. Those songs you mention here are overlooked by many. But how many Glamberts even know about them?

But for what price? The movie was an insult to Freddie and QAL is just a nightmare and make them a laughing stock

I think you should re-look Queen’s 00’s sales figures. They sold a lot of music back then, too. They were on the charts then, and previously in the 90’s as well.

The movie, not Adam, have made sales soar even higher. Adam can’t even make a hit song... do you really think Adam Worshippers is going to help with Queen’s sales, when Adam’s new music flopped?

Get real.

That’s the problem with Adam Worshippers... they think Queen were forgotten before Adam came along, and that’s so far from the truth. The truth is that they just didn’t focus or listen to Queen before Adam became associated with Queen.

Queen are a sales machine... their music never stops selling.

Rubbish, Adam takes his solo career very serious, saying it's a part time hobby is ridiculous and he's noticed plenty with and without Queen, you do spout some nonsense at times.

Tell you how much he's noticed - if SC had posted all the birthday messages from news outlets, radio stations, arena's all over the world etc she'd still be posting and the thread would be pages and pages long lol.

I think the biopic ended up getting Queen new fans more than Q+AL, at least from what I've seen.
I don't think the biopic was popular because of Q+AL either.

And his latest releases flopped... like the previously releases. Do not blame the digital age, Adam has 200 people ahead of him on the Billboard 200 who have actually sold music.

Don't say, "Oh, he's indie!" because that only works for those who start indie. Adam has had more promotion on his shit than most. All his fans saw. People just got tired of his generic bullshit.

Adam Worshippers didn't contribute to much Queen sales... Adam can't even create a hit himself. Anything Queen does, it's a hit =) Adam's auxiliary in Queen terms!

You think those who love Adam more than Queen, who fail to buy Adam’s music, somehow increase Queen’s sales? You’re a special kind of stupid!

I couldn't care less if he has what you class as a "hit", he's gone indie to be able to make the music he want's as opposed to being told what to do and if he's happy then that's what matters. As to generic bullshit his new music isn't which is again my point of why he went indie.

Really not interested in how many of his worshippers bought Queen music either, that was zero to do with my reply to ST17 I was simply pointing out that regardless of chart success etc Adam is passionate about what he's doing solo, this time more than ever because it's his baby and totally in his control.

Generic it is... generic, forgettable, bullshit. That’s why he can’t sell his music.

Indie is irrelevant to his sales. If you beg to disagree, Queen is indie with a distributor, too.

So are all their members for solo music.
