What are you going about, there's been no slapping by anyone in Queen. The only incident that happened was Brian who tried to grab a cameraman's phone to make sure he stopped filming.

Wrong caption. That was welcome to Brisbane! THIS is singing and dancing in the rain:

Did he still do his "pink elephant" speech even though there was a downpour?

I'd think they'd trim the show down to just get through it.

Looks like the show went for even longer than usual. Maybe rocking in the rain is more exciting because it's really challenging. Pictures and videos look epic!

The sound wasn’t very clear when Adam spoke both after Killer Queen and after Doing All Right but both times he had the audience laughing.

Why is AL so scripted? It is really cheesy.
Go and listen to live recordings from The Magic Tour, or some of the 70's tours.

When you've done that dig out some 80's Kiss shows or even their current tour

Dare I say Slipknot, mad manic as that show is Corey Taylor says more or less the same things in the same parts of the show.

You're aware of it because everything is on YouTube. Years ago if you went to watch a band tonight you'd have no idea what they played or said last night. That's just how it is.
Oh, I have listened to many of those shows by Queen. At least Freddie made it seem natural and witty. To me, AL doesn't do it like that.
Haven't listened to Kiss in years...and I'm not a slipknot fan at all.
Agreed, but that's about delivery rather than script. Having said that if you'd heard Freddie deliver the "this is a new song, who wants to live forever" every night of the Magic Tour and then the "the papers are saying we're gonna split up what do you think" lines it honestly sounds no less scripted than Lambert's I'm not Freddie routine.
AL has been doing the I'm no Freddie speech for years now, I don't think he ever changed all that much about it.. What Freddie said during the Magic tour was for that one tour only.

Well...there's a pink elephant in the room that needs to be addressed with each new audience.

Look at that pouring rain! The audience must have been soaked! Adam joked about his “soggy bottom” after sticking his butt out from the umbrella:

Yes - Freddie's delivery is exceptional, and his "this is a new song" sounded different every night and sounded sincere.

Freddie did not sound like he was reading from a script.

He had a connection to each individual audience. I especially love his chit-chats to the audience during the 1979 and 1980 Chicago concerts.

I'd rather call Lambird a fat tranny ELvis than a Pink ELephant but ok then....
