The setlist for the Fire Fight Australia concert, it's fair to say they've done an iconic one:

Advertised as "The Live Aid set" for the first time since 1985. Great cause tasteless choice.
What comes next? Lamebird rerecording ANATO? Every road will lead to this wait and see
Playing the live aid set list at firefight australia took balls. Fair play for taking that on. Ill be honest, made me smile when i realised what they'd done.

It's another milestone in the QAL bad taste debacle. As I said - next step will be old Queen songs re recorded with AL. Mark my words. They know no boundaries anymore when it comes to tastelessness
It's made more news playing the Live Aid setlist than if they were to come up with a new one. They've managed to get more attention to the terrific cause due to more exposure in the press saying it's the first recreation of Live Aid set since 1985.
For this one day, runner_70 shut up because you know they have done a great thing and you fucking hate it.

I suppose you should look over to the QOL FB page where they are getting flamed for doing this......
Why don't you go to the you tube of the performance and see that there are 1.1K thumbs up and 14 thumbs down. The people's comments are pretty much all extremely positive. This group might not be quite as biased as the Queen facebook group, although I have not looked at that. Seems like for regular people this was extremely well received. It also looked like the attendees were thrilled to be at the Australian event and it sounded pretty loud and happy. For me the biggest thing is that Brian and Roger can still perform like this at such a high level after almost 35 years. Not many bands can say that! Brian was on fire tonight! It made my heart sing for both Australia and for Brian and Roger. It had to be both sorrowful and sweet at the same time! Moan all you want, Runner, but I don't think most people look at this the way you do.
So there were people moaning about Adam possibly performing one of his solo songs and promoting his new album by doing that at the Fire Fight Show. Now they are saying that performing the Live Aid set list was tacky. Is there anything that passes the test for these negative, unhappy poor miserable souls?

You still don't get it do you? They have got so much attention from doing this which is getting people to donate to this cause. Every media form which has mentioned the setlist has mentioned Fire Fight Australia.
People have lost their livelihoods from these terrible fires and you care more about the choice of songs and your dislike for Q+AL. I'm sure if you were one of those people who have lost their home, you'd be thankful for big names like Q+AL devoting their time and effort for raising money like this.
Your spitefulness and selfishness has never been more prevalent than this.

You Glamtarts are so f'in predictable and delusional. I said the cause was good regardless who was there. We were not talking about the cause you stupid clown - we're talking about the show and the setlist.
And marketing this shitfest as "first time the Live Aid set" was played is beyond tasteless. Live with it or shut the fuck up

You run here once again to bitch about what I posted about on QOL. If anyone believed you, one would think there was many people, who was posting their views about the solo song. There wasn't, there was only me. Go over there to say all of this, but you don't have the guts. You stir the shit and you spread the shit. Here, I wonder why you continue to run here to do it? At least have the guts to do it on QOL, where I was expressing my povs. I can't believe you are having a pop at me here, where I've not even posted my views about the song. You cant help but to stir and spread the shit here.
Of course you think it's Live Aid 2.0 and the guys can retire now.

What are you talking about? I have just been on that FB Page and the reactions are very positive. I‘m sure there are some negative comments, just because you are there (and a few others). But that’s a very small margin, that didn‘t even show up in the comments or reaction emojis in my feed. Actually the reactions have never been that positive.

Well I'm sure the millions of people who watched it will disagree with you!
I'm not a Glambert - I'm a Queen fan which means I respect all their decisions (whether I like them or not). And, before you say Queen ended in 1991, it hasn't, they are still performing to this day and there's nothing you can personally do about it. Live with it or shut the fuck up
Hmmm, if I am guilty of stirring the shit, I wonder who is putting that shit there in the first place.
I’m not falling for your nasty bait and switch!
You are playing the victim that others are attacking you when it is the other way around!
