I listened to Queen way before Adam was ever on the scene obviously.
Obviously? I see no proof of that. Your lack of Queen knowledge proves the opposite. Don’t use “obviously” as your posts prove the opposite.
You don't have to know every single thing about a band or singer to be a fan.
No, you don’t. But, don’t act like a big fan of Queen. You’re not. If it wasn’t for Adam, you wouldn’t be here. You know Adam’s birthday.

It's like SweetCaroline, she was harping on about AL's album anniversary than realising about the 24th of November and why that date is so important to the history of Freddie ..that's just rudeness and ignorance.

Obviously means that Adam is much younger than Queen is and I had to like them way before Adam, due to the age difference! I am not talking about my Queen knowledge, but you can be a fan and enjoy QAL without having read the Queen encyclopedia. There are casual fans, regular fans and die hards. There is not just one kind of fan and you people are in the minority. I still believe the average casual and regular fan doesn't know all these dates and history that you go on and on about. No band would have any fans if you have to know their entire history from start to finish. Ridiculous concept!

Yes, I think it is interesting that Adam’s first album came out on November 23, 2009 and I posted here about the 10th anniversary of that album on November 23, 2019. But this forum is on UK time which is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time where I live so it posted here on November 24. Of course, crazy icy took it as an insult to Freddie that I was posting about Adam’s album on November 24 about Adam instead of Freddie when in fact I was posting on November 23 in America! Got it? Good!

That bloody album was more important for you to post about, you still don't know own what the 24th means in Freddie’s, Queen's and the world of music. Remember how a couple of years ago you prattled on about AL doing a Pink song? So, I'm not buying your time zone excuse at all. You cant ad it to not knowing...or caring. Thanks for maKing it all the more obvious.
If I never hadmit pointed it out to you, I don't think for a second you know what the date of November 24th signifies. That's what I mean when I say you lI've in a Lambert bubble. Do you really think most people here give a shit about the anniversary of AL's album, especially since the 24th is the day after. You cant stop promoting AL even for a 24 hour period. That's how fkn obessed you are

Why don't you folks concentrate on something important? There are lots of very big things happening in the world and they are perhaps more critical than worrying about who is a real Queen fan and who knows all those important dates. Get a grip, people!

And you're the fan who heard them on the radio, but didn't bother buying a studio album.

Freddie's birthday? Freddie's death? I know people who hate Queen, but know when Freddie died. Just like they know about the death of John Lennon. COMMON for OLDER folks in YOUR generation to know, as they lived to hear and read about it, and they LOVED those musicians, so it AFFECTED them... but NOT YOU. Because, though you've been a fan for ages, as you claim, you know NOTHING. Yet, you DO know Adam's birthday.

Why can't you and Sniffy and other dumb dumbs stop bringing up Icy in each conversation unreleated to her?

I saw everything you wrote on Freddie's death anniversary. You were a mad woman posting boosting tweets and links about Adam before the afternoon arrived, and then you mentioned Freddie well later on. I know what time zone you are in! MINE! I'm in the USA, and I was reading your posts all day, waiting for a fucking message about Freddie.

Instead it was, "Adam's so sexy" or "Adam's so perfect" or "Adam's got this shitty song coming out, IT'S THE GREATEST!"

Why don't you fuck off? You have not a clue what anyone does outside of this subforum, let alone what they do in real life.
You need a grip, harpy.

Would love to know why having knowledge of a band is necessary to be a fan of their music? I'm a Queen fan and have a fair amount of knowledge of them as a band since I find them interesting but I also listen to music where I couldn't tell you the name of most band members but it doesn't stop me loving listening to them. Not everyone needs to know about the band to be a fan of the music, not everyone is that type of person or has the time and interest to find all the stuff out about a band when all they really want to do is listen to the albums. From a band's perspective I'm sure they really couldn't care less whether you know all their history when you buy their music and if you do buy it and go to their shows if you can then they likely consider you a fan.

I personally have no clue (without googling) the anniversary of John Lennon's death or a whole host of other dates people consider important. History was my worst subject at school, I much prefer to live in the present and have an awful memory for dates, doesn't mean I wasn't shocked when it happened or didn't care but I don't spend my life remembering dates of things and I'd wager a lot of other people don't either. Some people like that type of thing and good for them but we aren't all the same, that's the problem I see on here, people thinking everyone has to think alike and find the same things important.

She thinks his fucking album anniversary was somehow a full circle moment since it's close to the 24th of November...go look at the thread I just bumped the best live singer on the planet.
