Wow. Fair and balanced (no sarcasm) from moog. Things HAVE changed.

Yeah i wasn't going to say anything. But it's a be grateful for whatever happened bit. Although there ARE times when Taylor seems like he could GAF.

But sometimes it could be concerning security, could be concerning a flight plan. Could be he's high as a kite and doesn't want to disappear. Could be anything. (*after events)

Regarding THAT particular show. Who knows. Dude prob had plans. Brian had plans as well- which would be apparent with NASA /JPL folks around. It's a desert zone and the skies are more clear for the field.

It's all a different beast. Just consider the negativity you received right now. Then multiply it by capacity seating *(giving them the benefit of the doubt) and in hindsight u might note it could be an entirely unrealistic ideal to EXPECT a response.

Glad you got one. Sorry you feel slighted. Things happen like that.

Jane Fonda for instance picked up my pick guard and pen then stated "oh, ...i can't do this right now.

Now that was out of an entire movie theatre after she'd done a post film Q&A .

I had an ESCAPADE magazine from the 60's that featured her but didn't bring it because it smelled like the 1960's (and few of that issue are in good condition)

I wondered wth might have been the reason but ultimately well. Who knows.

Still. I plan to continue project Fondarella (painted custom guitar project)

As it may not have been pointed out. Roger didn't exactly SLIGHT you either. They have no obligation to respond to fan inquiries. It was very genuine of Brian to do so. Or maybe you're very good looking (for a mom ;) )

But I'm sorry to hear about your child's illness. Thatcanbe an overwhelming thing. I hope you and your own manage to nip it in the bud somehow.

And so the most important point in this thread has been made. Hear, hear.

Roger doesn't owe you anything.
I think your painting sucks and your pathetic story on Queenzone sucks even more.

Have a good weekend!
Nice, A woman's son is battling Cancer and that's you're response? You should apologize. Even If you dislike the painting.

I've had better experiences meeting Roger than Brian. He's a long post with my experiences, in case anybody cares, Haha ??
Saw Brian twice on the same day, before and after the show in Prague 2005. He was gracious enough to stop for about 10-15 people and sign some stuff both times. After the show I could see he was annoyed that we were there and made a gesture, a bit of a shrug like saying "aw crap, here we go again". The third time I saw him was as he was leaving his hotel in NYC before the rehearsal for the Global Citizen Festival 2019. He wasn't planning on stopping as he was in a hurry but a friend managed to position himself between Brian and his car so he inevitably stopped for 8 seconds or so. Brian was not pleased and just kept saying he couldn't stop and he was in a hurry. So I haven't received the well- known Brian-fan quality time that lots of people

Roger was nice both times I met him. Same day in Prague 2005, he signed a few people's tickets and programs and he was leaving right before it was my turn. I whined outloud "Aw man, I came all the way from Mexico to see you" and he stopped and said to his bodyguard that he would "just sign this guy's" (referring to me) and came back walking directly to sign my program. Very nice.
Fast forward to 2019 in NYC he was coming out of his hotel with his wife and his daughter Lola. He stopped, signed about 5 autographs or so and, as he was doing that, he was reacting to and acknowledging what people said. Politely and trying to seem interested, even if he was obviously in a hurrying. I told him I loved his Fun In Space album and that I thought he should play it live some time. He grinned widely, without looking at me, as I said that. He signed my Japanese Let's Get Crazy 8" single and then turned to me to say "I can't remember it" (Fun in Space) and very briefly he looked toward me to share a laugh for half a second or so. Great, brief yet authentic experience.

^yeah. Something that others can't seem to consider or acknowledge is that these guys are pretty old and yeah....though they've only a handful of albums. They might forget a lot of this stuff.

Same experience with some actors over 70. Yet others have great recall....probably depends on howactive their lifestyle is...and hopefully quality of their mind. Far too many things to factor in.

Thanks for the share. Evens things up.

Still lucky for them that people admire their work. At least it's admiration based on substance - unlike a lot of fame whores that exist these days

So true...
Negative wankers.

So, your personal taste is more than a mother trying to cope with her son's cancer. I thought you both had capabilities to be arses before but this really does show it. Keep it up.

But why even bring that up in the first place?

Exactly.

Cancer has nothing to do with the ugly painting and pathetic story.

No need to be a cunt though.

She might have not done that picture if her son had cancer.

He didn't do the right or the wrong thing, but to suggest that because you have spent a lot of time and effort deserves some sort of recognition from the subject is ridiculous. What if he didn't acknowledge it because he didn't like it? I don't particularly like it tbh. I would rather be ignored than have a someone lie that they did like it. Surely the response you did get went above and beyond all your expectations.

The whole post is a little narcissistic.
I couldn't agree more.
