In Dragon Attack Freddie sings 'It's gotta be Mac"....
Does this mean that he hated Microsoft?

It's gotta be Mac".... possibly he meant (Big) Mac ? French fries not included, but never mind :)

Never thought about that, but you;re right. It's possible that he didn t refer to the computer mogul but to the fastfood mogul.
That brings uo another question: DID FREDDIE HATE KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN and BURGER KING?

Brian wrote the lyrics.
Microsoft didn't even offer stock until around 1985, and did so without fries.

ouch, oh dear... it appears Dragon Attack 's lyrics were written by BM? ( correct me if I am wrong)
So....doesn't that change the whole Game ? Maybe you are closer to the truth with BM's interest in technical stuff, eg Microsoft rather than my dumb assumption about Mc Do's Big Macs minus French fries ? I apologize. How vulgar.
On the other hand, Queen had a Krautie producer at the time , Reinhold Mack. But then, can we confirm that BM was already a vegan at the time going for Krauts or Sauerkraut ? Meh.
Maybe a hidden gay message unearthed 40 years later? Oh oh... eh ? BM in love with the Mac producer ? Twinkle twinkle. Nah.
Too bad, that producer didn't write any tell it all books to begin with, cause whatever an " inner circle" publishes is the ultimate truth.
hm,...perhaps it 's just a flashback to the Prophets song...
Oh oh people of the earth
Listen to the warning
The Seer he said
Beware the storm that gathers here
....
followed up in 1980 by : "It's gotta be Mac" ? whatever :)
Listen to the wise man

^ Great post! :-)

Yeah, I'm not sure those great posts were done by the same person, or two people. I'm also not sure if they're on some good drugs, or some really bad ones.

So this is what the serious discussion forum has become?

Hilarious!
I believe he was talking about his favourite Always Sunny In Philadelphia character!

It's safe to assume that he didn't like things that were small and soft.
Perhaps a competitor.
But to lyrical point.... what the hell IS Dragon Attack about? If not drugs of sort in a dance room.
Brian also deferred the notion on China Belle.

Pittrek:" So this is what the serious discussion forum has become? "
if you take a look at the nauseating speculations ( fantasies or " fan opinions" ) on some threads , then you see what this forum has become indeed. Not yesterday, but a while ago.
My lenghty idiotic reply to the OP was inspired by sheer nonsense seen here, read there and slightly adapted. No need to look any further.

Freddie definitely hated Microsoft. To the point that, when Bill Gates (in November 1983) announced the release of MS Windows 1.0, Freddie sat down and wrote his own protest song (for inclusion on Queen's 1984 LP).
The protest gathered pace and huge protest groups and picket lines gathered outside Microsoft's HQ in Seattle - chanting Freddie's song for upto 12 hrs 7-days a week:
"Just believe - just keep passing the open windows
Just believe - just keep passing the open windows
Just keep passing the open windows
Just keep passing the open windows"
His protest song, worked so well, that Windows 1.0 was delayed and delayed for almost two years - finally hitting the store shelves in November 1985!
