Gerry's idiotic remarks are, obviously, nothing short of disgusting.
But Brian May, as an intelligent person, should be able to understand the need to dramatically limit personal contact, especially in those groups of people who are at an elevated risk, and as a celebrity with a large audience, he definitely shouldn't have written and published such a selfish and short-sighted message.

I often defend him, but there's no defending that last blog entry.
But he's a scientist, and thus adept at assimilating new information and changing his mind, as he has done a couple times lately. So we'll see if he does that in the coming days.
