Why can't people get into their heads that John just wants to have a quiet life? He gave up 20 years of his life to music. Perhaps he has fallen out with Brian and Roger, but when it comes down to it, if he has then it is nothing to do with anybody else.

Richey wrote the lyrics only, not the music..... but yes that is co-writing, and he was largely responsible for the image of the band, true.
