BECAUSE HE WAS NEVER ABLE TO HIT THEM LIKE FREDDIE DID!

If you heard him sing in Aug and Dec of this year, which I did, you would know that what you are saying is patently untrue. He hits them even more robustly and with a roundness that he didn't have in the early years. Sometimes the note could be a tad shrill, but no more. He can also sustain that note and it just zooms through the venue and hangs there, just like music is supposed to do. There has been no shrinking of his range, he is just more mindful of when to use the high notes and he has added to his range because the lower register is much better and deeper.

Adam does not have a low register with the vocals because he sings very high pitched.
Freddie had a great low register but his falsetto vocals where superb.

He does now have a lower register. You are mistaken. I would prefer to hear full voice or a mixed voice like Adam uses for those higher notes. I hate falsetto and to me they always sound weird. The falsettos most male singers use are too breathy and some just sound like a strangled cat, Sam Smith for example.
Freddie had a way better than average falsetto, but still prefer Adam's voice in the very high range. Freddie was better in the lower range. Every singer has strengths and weaknesses. No one is perfect, not even Freddie.

What is wrong with way better than average? Am I supposed to say the best there ever was, is, or will ever be? Are you people never satisfied? Freddie was a person, not some kind of a demigod, which seems to be how most of you think.

Adam doesn’t sing falsetto. When he hits those high notes he does it with his head voice which is why it if so remarkable!

Also, Freddie was a baritone and Adam is a tenor!

He has said there will be falsetto on Velvet. He has said he's embracing his falsetto more than ever.
I wonder if you think he sounds like a girl when he uses it, because you have stated that every male singer who uses falsetto sound like a girl. So of course, you say now AL doesn't use his falsetto.

It is damning with faint praise. Fred had a great falsetto, which that video demonstrates, but I doubt you (people) watched it.

Could say that AL is not a demigod either, no matter how much you want to big him up on a Queen board.

Effective and brilliant. He did that so well.
SweetCaroline and snifflese won't watch that, because omg Freddie's chest is showing. ;-)

And not only that, Fred was singing a song that he wrote and accompanying himself on piano in front of an audience of 500,000 people. Wearing a unitard! The man is a legend.

Well, Holly I did watch it! And as I said, his falsetto is WAAAY better than average. I am just not a fan of falsetto in gerneral and I have stated that in many places on here for a long time. Not my cuppa for men! I certainly do not say Adam is any kind of a god and it is ridiculous to say that. I don't agree with many of his decisions, not that fond of some of his choices for songs and really prefer him singing QAL music and wish he would do classical. Does that about cover it? I just happen to love his voice and I cannot help whose voice makes me respond to it. There was a kid on The voice who sang Hallelujah a few weeks back and I had the same kind of response. I also think Adam is a good, hard working individual and it bothers me that all these nasty things are said about him, same as things like that bothered me back when I taught. I have told you before that this place reminds me of a school where a lot of the kids are bullies. That is just the way I am.

Not a fan of Adam's falsetto at all and think it is a poor choice to sing it that way. I am sure when he sings at his concerts, he will ditch it like he has in the few songs with falsetto in the past. His falsetto is not great and he sounds much better without it. It is by far the weakest part of his voice because he has never had to develop it. I have no idea why he would sing it that way, since he is one of the very few who does not need falsetto. By the way, this super duper Glambert has never streamed his music, voted in polls, or has even bought any of the Velvet music. You might have to ratchet down your expectations of me in regards to Adam/s music. I will say when I heard him sing some of these songs in Foxwoods in Dec, they were much better than on the recorded music. His music always is and that is why he is the best live sounding artist that I have ever heard. He doesn't seem to have an off night and every night is superb. If he has any issues with his voice, he doesn't let his audience know about it!
