Poll: How was Freddie depicted in the Queen movie?

Its obvious Brian set Fred up in that film and made him look like he was nearly going to spilt the band up which is utter rubbish.

85% of the votes and the fans know Brian was unfair letting the film make Freddie out to be the bad guy.
May & Taylor are a disgrace since they class Freddie as a special friend but you just do not do those things to special friends do you !

Very true. I'm a firm believer in the principle that one should never judge people by what they say, but rather by what they actually do.

I hope this poll is accurate, and represents QZ opinion about Freddie's questional portrayal in the movie.

However, this poll is not reliable and encourages ballot box stuffing.

There probably is some ballot stuffing but I believe it does represent the general sentiment quite accurately. Certainly the sheer number of people who have pointed this out in reviews of the film makes me believe that.

I wonder if the "man of many banned accounts" stuffed the ballot box.

Did the "man of many banned accounts" also write all those film reviews that point out how the film makes Brian look great at Freddie's expense?

I was referring to Gerry and his many accounts and how easy it is to stuff the ballot box.

I agree that Freddie got fucked by the biased portrayal in the movie

Because the voting has gone the other way Many Queen fans are just taking the piss because the evidence in the film is there
it accuses Freddie of been the first Queen member to go solo no mention of the true fact that Roger was the first Queen member to do a solo project.
Freddie also did not meet Jim Hutton in a hotel he met him in a bar.

Rock chick, how come it has swung the other way? Because people have suddenly realised that it's true that Freddie was a bumbling idiot who begged Brian (the true mastermind of Queens success) to have mercy on him and let him back into queen. It will even be written about in the new, improved biography of queen which will feature never before revealed true historical insights and will be co-authored by Brian to be released in 2022.

Brian manipulated the film the same as he has manipulated the band now.
