This is a matrix of three different sources from the second show of the Magic Tour. I only did this as an experiment (and a test of my own patience) to see what the result of three average sounding recordings stacked on each other would do. This matrix uses sources 2, 3, and 4 listed on queenlive.ca. Sources 3 and 4 were corrected to the speed of source 2. I have skewed source 3 slightly to the left channel and source 4 slightly to the right channel, with source 2 left as it was. The result isn't too far off of what source 2 sounds like by itself, although the sound is noticeably beefier, and Brian May's leads really cut through the mix a lot more (better in my opinion), although the recording does predictably suffer from a lot of audience noise. This is not really what I would call a "definitive" version of the show, but more or less just a different flavour of one of Queen's most legendary shows, so make of it what you will.

Source 2: AUD > ? > CDR (x)
Source 3: AUD > Sony Walkman (w/ stereo mic) > Master Cassette > Reel To Reel Tape > Mini Disc (w/ EQ) > WAV (re-tracked in Nero) > CDR (0) > WAV > FLAC level 8
Source 4: AUD > ? > WAV > FLAC level 8

Fabulous job ! I know how painstaking a matrix can be, as it's multiple analog sources running at different speeds. Anything less than laser precision and you get phasing.

Thanks for posting. This show is much more listenable now.

It was one of the very few shows of which I had more than one source. I was never able to decide which one I prefer. And now I finally know. This is my favourite source of this show.

Thanks a lot for your hard work!

Thanks a lot for preparing this matrix and posting it here!

Fantastic show, they were hungry for live concerts and you can clearly hear it! :)

Is this the show with the audience "football chant" that Freddie loved as well as the longer version of FWBF?
