Hi evrybody,

I read on every related Queen sites that the released date for Hot Space was 21 may 1982 both in UK and US ...

but ... in France I bought it on 30 april...

No doubt about it, I found the date in my daily notebook from 1982 ... I saw it in a commercial center at 7.15 p.m. and I didn't have enough money to buy it ... crazy race to find 10 French francs of the time that I had to borrow from a girlfriend met on the way ... I bought it from Clementine, boulevard du Montparnasse - Paris, France ...
I remember with emotion the shock of listening to the first fside !!!

No, I bought the Album on 30 april 1982, not the single...

I never bought a single of all my life except Under Pressure and Radio Gaga.

May be Hot Space was released before UK because they played in France on 19 april and 3may...

That's interesting info, thanks.

I suspect the album had been planned for much earlier (probably before the tour, as that'd make far more sense) but got delayed.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Delayed by Cool Cat and objections of David Bowie?

Stock Is received before the release date. I bought a Blur album a few days before release date because I said I was going abroad on holiday (total lie)
