Hi - apologies if this has been mentioned but saw that ps has a new box set out and a new (or revamped) version of this song has been released, videos a bit odd but have always liked this one, first heard it in mid 90's on a bootleg called 'pre'-ordained' I got from Romford Market! Glad it's getting a re-release, some good backing vocals from fm. Here's the YouTube link (fingers crossed it works!! Sorry not sure how to make it clickable? ) :

Cool! Will have to check it out. Life in chaos these days. Thanks for the legit update. I am still unfamiliar with much of Straker's career. Will be getting back to it whenever i get some calm time

I have heard this song and it is really good. It is on my top 10 list of the best songs of all time. I would like to tribute a video to the artist of the song but first I need to complete my college assignments. My friend suggested taking help from essayontime.com.au/assignment-help-in-australia website to complete my assignments. After I do that I will post a beautiful tribute video on youtube.

too much wrong with such a small sentence:

1. Queen did not cover other artists on their LPs.
2. Freddie was not responsible for "the Queen treatment" - Queen as a four, created the Queen sound.
3. The rest of the band would NOT have ever contemplated recording this. They'd have told Freddie to go and do a "Great Pretender" pt2 with it.
4. in any case, it really could not have been a "great song" recorded by anyone else (even Queen). 99 times out of 100 - the original is the best recording - because that's how it was intended to sound.

Are God Save the Queen and The Wedding March Queen covers?

as there is no physical recording of the original, i'd say no. but nice try.

closest they got was: Beach Boys' - I Can Hear Music. and Carole King's - Goin' Back. as neither were actually recorded as Queen, then my point still stands.

i think that (down the years) there were certainly some songs they'd have liked to cover. However, once they actually started making money (1975), there may have been a conscious decision to "keep as much of their "hard-earned" for themselves. One aspect would be recording only their own songs.

Neither "Wedding March" or GSTQ would have been under copyright. so no writers' royalties?

Solo-wise, it's a different story:
Roger:
Dylan - Masters of War
Hendrix - Foxy Lady
Lennon - Working Class Hero
Springsteen - Racing In The Street

Brian:
Mott - All The Way From Memphis
Hendrix - One Rainy Wish
Persuasions/Parliaments - I Wanna Testify
Small Faces - Rollin' Over
Williams - Slow Down

Freddie:
Platters - Great Pretender

there maybe one or two others that i've missed.

I have been always a great fan of queen band and Freddie is my one of the favourite band vocalist. BTW, I have been searching for the https://do-my-assignment.com/do-my-dissertation-australia/ site information. Do you know anything about this? Please let me know any update.
