Flash 40th Release

Sneaky unexpected release coming, ill defo be gettin this! Just a shame the UK comic.con events featuring the cast here in UK isnt going ahead.

Pity it's a 4k release I only have DVD & Blu Ray machine and it's just a the standard Queen Flash Gordon soundtrack CD included.Mind you we can't possibly expect Brian and Roger to offer us anything new,they are so busy these day's with that naughty boy Adam Lambert ! Perhaps they could have removed Sam Jones from the Film and used AL instead if he acts as well as he sings it would have been just great wouldn't it .

5 Discs? Does that mean 4K, Blu-ray, 2 DVD (film and LIFE AFTER FLASH)? Plus soundtrack?

Does anybody know how much ,when and what is actually included ?

The only reasonable summation I found was on a yahoo sports page. (go figure)

This must be the edition that was screened last year w Sam and Melody in attendance. PLENTY of new material here though and apparently a new bit w Brian May and film composer Howard Blake... (if you noticed the sticker... QUEEN are a huge selling point on this! HAHAHA my my how times have changed)

We need to think about this £50 is a lot of money for a 4k disc that I can't play plus the 2011 Soundtrack by Queen that I already have.Unless someone can tell me that the soundtrack has been given another Remaster.I will probably just get the Blu Ray edition.

I welcome the 4K HDR version. The current blu ray is a 'HD reference' disc as regars pic quality.
Although a very dated, cheesey movie by today's standards, the colours and wide color gamut will look superb in 4K HDR (and I hope in Dolby Vision).

I also hope they improve on the audio soundtrack and include a Dolby Atmos mix.
