brian confirms they have been recording, but they didn't find the "right vibe" or whatever he says...
I personally hope they never do :)
but in case the fans of qal didn't know - there it is, straight from the doc's mouth

...AAAAAAAAAAAAND this was always the danger of recording as "QUEEN +"
The new material would never rate with the hard nose fans and it would be susceptible to easy criticism. HOWEVER, I for one hope they record something. They've done 15? years or more of this touring... releasing an EP or a few songs wouldn't be a bad idea. What else could they do? Some of the "AL" cuts sounded good with "Queen" backing them live...s o there's always that.

They have been touring for 8 years since June of 2012 and it has been anything but a car crash!
They have brought the magic and joy of live Queen music to those who miss it and those who never had the chance to enjoy it with the original band!

the way I see it, it's just a musical collaboration.
For all we know, they're just beefing up Anita's back catalogue :)
JUST IN TIME FOR RECORD STORE DAY 2021!
A-side: To Know Him Is To Love Him [rock version] (Spector)
B-side: Funny Old Life Ain't It [Rock Version] (May/Dobson)
...all kidding aside, I don't understand how this gets people in a fuss.

It’s too early.

An Anita and Adam collaboration would be great. I wouldn’t mind if they did a duet album. Aren’t most of Adam’s fans women that are similar to Anita’s age anyways?
