It’s a cops duty to uphold the law regardless of race I don’t know what raised this subject but yes my husband has shot and killed civilians in the past. Cops have families and children the same as anyone else and when it comes to their safety yes they will draw their weapon and empty a round in someone if need to be.In reference to race that means regardless of race.My husband is German I’m Indian I have a half black niece and other family members on my Indian side that are mixed with black that are third cousins so I’m in no means racist if that’s where your getting at.
