Because he's unlikely to read or post anything here. Just for shits and giggles. ..
What would you imagine John Richard Deacon , noted rock star and bassist extraordinaire doing on his 69th birthday?
1) personally, I think he'd be listening to some tunes while polishing off an old transistor radio.
Help me Rhonda
Bee Gees- To Love Somebody
Etc. Oldies station
Then he'd go out to the garden, have a smoke and feed a squirrel.
Just my wild imaginings.

Happy Birthday to John.
He did the right thing to quit Queen for he knew there is no magic after Freddie departed from us all.
John is a brilliant bass player and certainly underrated.

Matt, I’m sure he might be spending time with the family it always seemed to be very important to him even when he played with Queen. I would hope he had those feet planted firmly on the ground as he always did with his quitar jamming to Biohemian Rhapsody I highly doubt it though.

Happy Birthday John!
I would imagine he read the paper, had a cup of tea, reviewed Queen’s financials, then went to the pub for a drink!
