"Due to an inquisitive email that I received concerning Elton John's upcoming issue of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road on SACD, I discovered that Island is preparing another SACD version that will come with a DVD bonus disc. I don't know what's on the bonus disc as of yet but we'll let you know just as soon as we find out. Recap: GYBR will release in separate SACD and SACD/DVD versions. Expect those on November 11."

Hey Pete, do you know what's on the DVD?

Well now that the disc is out
(*hits head against the wall several times in a row due to STILL not being able to playback SACD*)

Here's a thread about the release
at the Steve Hoffman forums.

Quite a disappointing release to be honest if a picture gallery is the only extra...

Oh well, there's always the excellent asian bootleg dvd's....

I've seen it for pre-order, but not in any
place I could shop in.

Looks promising... I assume this will also be
bundled with the documentary.
