In my opinion, Freddie is the greatest singer of all time! He was blessed with a voice that was so beautiful, it is very powerful, expressive and sometimes brings a tear to my eye. Be it live or in the studio I feel he is much better than the likes of Lennon, Elvis and Bono. But what do you think?

I didn't mean his voice changes in the song but his voice style is different in different songs. Such as his style of singing is totally different to what it is on BR than CLTCL.

In my opinion, a great voice has either to be interesting to listen to or great in range/technique.
Freddie had both of those qualities. Totally recognizable and over the top.
Metallica's shouter has a very interesting voice but it is not that very creative.
Pavarotti has a great technique, but I get bored with his voice after a while.
And then, this Iglesias fellow for example has none of those qualities. yuck.
Fred is pretty much the best vocalist. However, I can understand some people who find his voice a little annoying.

My favorite vocalist are freddie mercury and george michael. Freddie was definetly better. We all wouldnt be here chatting if he wasnt.
