Is it just me or does anybody else have this problem. Anytime I want to browse a users files, it never works. Nobody has any slots open ! What's the point of a sharing community, if nobody shares?

And remember that 2 slots is the minimum; lots of users have more than this amount opened depending on what each one can afford.

It is as zeni tells a matter of trying, the find engine is pretty well
And hell, is it THAT bad to wait for a free song? Just be patient, or ask someone if they grant you a slot, most people are willing to help

I was speaking about "browsing a users files". I can alway find a particular song, but it's nice to browse other users collections, to see what out there and what I may be missing.

If you do a search for a specific file, you can see over on the right whether the person has any open slots (but you might have to scroll over). Also there is an option to only search for files from users with open slots.

Use oDC instead, you dont need a free slot too download someone Filelist, actually u dont need a free slot to download anything under 16kb. This way it gets harder to fake shares. oDC is soooo much better..dont get me started.... http://gempond.com/odc/

When you are in passive mode you can´t browse files from other user who are also in passive mode, always check that.
