Nah - Jon Bon Jovi :D
Actually, their guitarist specifically said in an interview that Brian influenced the song. That's why "Brother" is my new favorite PJ song ;)

The beginning of Foreigner's song "Blue Morning, Blue Day" reminds me of Death On Two Legs

The beginning of "Cold as Ice" sounds slightly similar too.
I could always picture Queen doing a good live version of "Hold On Tight" by ELO :)
What was that hugely popular song a few years ago by a female artist that has the same ending as "Radio Ga-Ga"? It has that same guitar thing but I can't think of it....

I used to think 'The Invisible Man' sounded a bit like Ghostbusters. But than again a lot of people do the first time they hear it.
I STILL think it sounds like Ghostbusters. And I've heard it a good few times.

Goinback- do you mean 'Torn' sung by Natalie Imbruglia? That what I thought when I herd it. The guiter at the end is not exactly the same, but very similar.

A lot of Def Leppard's songs have a definate Queen sound and "feel" to them, but that is easy since Def Leppard have long cited Queen's influence on them.
I think, in addition to Hendrix and the Beatles, I can hear a little Beach Boys/Brian Wilson influence in Queen's music, at least in the early days. I am not talking about "Fun,Fun,Fun" or "Surfin' Usa", but especially "Pet Sounds" and some of their later work like "Smiley Smile". Particularly when Brian was experimenting with song structure and time changes, but mostly the vocal harmony sound. I can hear it in the middle of "March Of The Black Queen". A lot of the ideas came from Freddie, but I wonder if he did not hear some of the Beach Boys albums and keep some of their ideas in the back of his mind.

Everytime I hear the harmony part in the middle of that song, I think it's Queen.

The guitar solo on "Cold As Ice" sounds an awful lot like the Red Special.

So does Santana's hit from about 3 years ago - was it called "Good Enough"?

Maybe it's a Gibson Les Paul

Whoever said "Cold As Ice" by Foreigner is right on. It made me a fan, albeit temporarily.
Loads of Styx songs strike me this way... "Come Sail Away" among them.
I always say this (I apologize to those who've read me saying this repeatedly) but "[nice dream]" by Radiohead has some very Queen 2 guitar in it. Bunch of things on OK Computer sound very prog-rock like Queen's early stuff, too.
10cc with "The Things We Do For Love" was more Queeny that most of their previous pop ditties, I thought.
Bunch of Cars songs, too, like "Good Times Roll" and "My Best Friends Girl" have the big RTB-produced vocals a-la-Queen.
Utopia did some like "The Very Last Time" that seemed Queeny...
"This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us" and "Amateur Hour" by Sparks.
I could go on, but the names get pretty obscure... Crack The Sky... I'll pack it in for now...
