Anyone here familiar with php, etc etc. All the fancy prancy stuff ;-) that I know nothing about (php etc).

I would like to re-create my current trading website (videotrader.tk) to be database driven in a way that I would have the current categories (audio, vcd etc), but instead of having each bootleg or video-cd in a separate html file I would have a template of somesort with it's spot for the setlist, date, artist, venue, coverart image (just like current bootleg descriptions) and the data for those fields would always load into the template from a database depending on the users request.... so the .'frame' would be the same but the painting would change :-P

Hope I made myself clear... So what I wonder is..how can this be achieved, what do I need to know ? php ? and how painfull this transformation would be ?

Any guiding links to good resources would be nice. cheers
