oh yeah, i'm sorry, I thought Rien put the song on his website
You didn't have to be so mean about it :(
Sorry folks, I'm not uploading the track onto my site because it's a charity song. I've put a "teaser" on my site that'll play some cut&paste I've just made. But here's the link I got it from http://queen-music.hotmail.ru/The%20Call.MP3
Thank You Rien. Unfortunately I could not get Capital Radio via satelite, so I think I'll download the track.
Anyway even Brian wrote that perhaps he would make it available to download from his soapbox.

Wow... I REALLY like that...
Something about it is lacking....
Invincible Hope is better, im my opinion.

I believe when we hear it in higher quality it will sound a lot better.
I hope so, Teatime. Up to now the statement made a bigger impression on me than the song itself.

it's missing something, like Zeni said

Deacon & Mercury springs to mind, That and a tune.

Yeah, i think it's the tune thats missing, maybe it would've been even better if he would continue singing, and the on the last part (after the dialing tune comes in again) his shouted speech.
But i think it's the shouting that gives it something extra

Awesome.
All that's missing is a guitar solo in the middle somewhere.

Interesting. Might indeed sound huge on real speakers...
I must say I dont really care for either of the tracks. The Call is lacking something and just does not sound convincing. I dont buy Brian singing it. Roger's track sounds like an used song from the Happiness sessions with words changed to fit the Nelson Mandella theme. By far not their best work.
