Last Saturday morning I saw a flock of pigs in the sky, heading south for winter. Later that afternoon I saw a man with a goatee beard and horns driving a snow plough. That night the moon appeared to be a pale shade of blue.
Thank heavens things are back to normal again and we Scots can go back to what we do the best. Wallowing in self pity and getting pissed.

Lets be fair, Scotland were never going to beat Holland were they. They could have beaten them 10-0 at Hampden and the Dutch would still have scraped it back in Holland. Scotland just aren't good enough-it's the Welsh that should be kicking themselves, after all-Russia are hardly Brazil, and the Welsh team is as good as it's ever going to get. Could be another 60 years before they get to a final now.

I agree with Freddie B - the Scotland v Holland result was a foregone conclusion after the Dutch got a wake up call at Hampdem Park - but the Wales result was a bigger shock imo

The reason the Dutch won Wednesday was because they decided to play Ruud up front without Kluivert,its blatently obvious they cannot play together so the better of the two was picked and what a result.Will they win Euro 2004?, well, they are like England,Italy and Spain, well overdue.
