I've never heard of it, but there were a few shows in Vienna that year. I don't know of any video footage from those shows, though.

Yes, there is some footage from the Vienna concerts, I believe a couple of songs from the 12.5.1982 Concert can be seen on the "Rare Live" video.

Indeed, a part of AOBTD is from Vienna 1982 on Rare Live. Part of TYMD too I think. Haven't watched the video in years :-)

aotb is from vienna '82, tymd is from frankfurt '82, all european concerts in the '82 were professionally filmed but i want to know if that report is the report that was broadcasted on tv about the concerts of vienna or others

Yes, this particular broadcast has footage from Vienna 5-12-82, and it includes the Flash intro, The Hero, TYMD and AOBTD. Within this TV special, there is also footage of Queen receiving Gold records for Hot Space, among other little tidbits of footage. My copy has fair picture, but almost excellent sound.

So far I haven't seen any evidence of that ALL European Hot Space concerts were recorded on video. In fact Brian explicitly said in an interview that he wished they had recorded Leeds instead of MK, because that was a much better gig (in his opinion...). No DoRo footage of any concerts, except Frankfurt and Vienna has appeared so far.....

Somewhere it was said that all the concerts were filmed, but I don't believe it.
In all logic, what band brings the filming crew to every show, and for what purpose? It has never been heard of. Audio recording yes, but not video.

I think it was originally Peter Freestone who said that the band recorded all European Hot Space gigs.

Phoebe is a good guy, but I'd like a second opinion. Again, I just don't see the logic in bringing camera crews to every night of a tour. But hey, I'd love to be proven wrong, and Phoebe's quote is a good first step. Bring on an '82 DVD.

he said recorded, not filmed

His website says they all were filmed, so I assume that's what he meant by "recorded".
