As we all know Freddie considers lipsynching a lack of respect towards the crowd (and it really is), and on numerous ocassions he bashed a lot of artists who constantly lipsynch while singing live.
To my amazement I found Freddie lipsynching at the performance from the Montreux Pop Festival shown on the GVH2 DVD.
What do you guys think about that?

The lip synching was forced on them at Montreux, thus the reason Freddie makes it very obvious that he is doing it. Both Montreux performances and the San Remo appearance were mimed.
Miming for promotional videos is, of course, an entirely different matter.

It's pretty obvious that Fred is taking the piss out of the idea by not bothering to sing into the mic at the right time. etc. etc.
Interesting footage to see cause I'd never seen it before, but not something I'll return to anytime soon.
