Young fans

Hey I'm back to reply on how I became a Queen fan! When I was little my dad used to play the ClassicRock station when he was in the shower, which was right next to my room. All I remember is that one night I heard BoRhap, and I just could not keep from singing it. At this time I was about 3-4 yrs old! I always loved any of Queen's hits when they came on the radio, but when I was in 7th grade, our English teacher played BoRhap b/c we were studying irony. I could not get the song out of my head for the rest of the day and as soon as I got home, I did a Queen search on my pc. A few weeks after that, my dad took me out to get Greatest Hits 1&2, and I've been a hardcore fan ever since! :) I now collect their albums, vinyls, 45s, everything... I'm now a senior in highschool, and I'm more proud of being a Queenie/Freddie fan than ever :D

where in the US are you at?

When I became a queen fan i remembered that when i was about 5 i was watching tv at my aunts and I saw a person (i thought freddie was a girl) singing Bo rhap, and i was mezmerized by him, and his outfit (its wierd how i remember it so vividly). Well my cousin changed it, and i got mad, and couldn't get her to turn it back. I think thats wierd how i saw him when i was so young and never thought anything about it and then now im a full blown Queen fan!

Like some, I saw the movie Wayne's World. I would watch that part where they play Bo. Rhap. over and over again until I finally got one of their albums and it just went from there.

I live in Pennsylvania. And also, I too can remember seeing Freddie in that lovely BoRhap outfit... I thought he looked simply stunning @ the piano with his hair all done and his eyeliner on ;)... those were the days. That was about when I was 5, b/c Freddie had just passed away and they were playing BoRhap like mad on TV & Radio.

i became a queen fan about a year ago when my brother was trying to get me to like rock music he played bicyle race and i fell in love with the song later he played bo rap and i loved that one to. (he now hates himself for getting me into queen) then i saw freddie and fell madly in love with him. but wheni got into queen in a big was was when on my birthday(september 5) i got classic queen and greatest hits and i was hooked. none of my family likes queen so it is annoying but ive got almost all my friends into queen i guess thats good

Abby you live in KY? My fair state! I'm 16 myself. Have you been to the ROcky Horror Picture SHow in Lexington? You said you liked it. I've actually only been once, October a year ago, due to parental units.

I got into Queen through my old violin teacher actually! He likes them. He so should be gay. We keep telling him that but he still likes latino women!

No I heard it was playing lexington, but i never went. People think im weird when i explain that movie to them and say i love it. I think i have a strange attraction to male transvestites. If i were a guy I'd dress in stockings and pearls!
