i saw only Roger and Brian??????

Thanks, Elvis, keep my eyes opened....but noing the USA doubt it....
Queenboot, ok, yes, it was only Brian and Roger, but they are still Queen...wish John Deacon would've been there, (and he was'nt even there for there inductions to the Hall of fame, or the Hollywood walk of fame) but not the case, anyway, even without Freddie and John, Queen will always be Queen. Why does Pink Floyd, still go by Pink Floyd, w/o Syd Barrett, and Roger Waters....Black Sabbath without Ozzy, and so on and on....Queen will b Queen forever....and if Brian and Roger want to keep that to go on, then let it be! Sure, it's not the same without Freddie/John, but on the other hand you have to give them credit to keep the Queen reign still going......and doing what they feel is right.....Aids foundation, muscial...etc....so let it go, Freddie is'nt with us nomore, but doing what Brian and Roger are doing, is worth everything to keep it going.....I'm sure Freddie would be behind them 100%....and even Mr.Deacon....but if he wants his private life, that's his choice.....
Queen will always be Queen....even if it's just the 2 of them doing what they do......it's worth every moment there on stage, it's very nice to see. We all wish they would b all together...but just not the case.....so enjoy the moments....cuz life is 2 short.......

in case you haven't noticed:
Eric Singer also did drums. (BM band)
Spike Edney did keyboards. (SAS & BM band)
Chris Tompson did vocals (SAS + BM band)
1 of the Fabba girls also sang. (SAS+BM band)
I think Steve Trout did bass (sas band)
Jim Beach co-produced the concert
David Mallet did video-production (didn't he direct some Queen vids?)
So there's a LOT of Queen involvement!

Nice post, Proton...and yes David Mallet was involved in Queen/Freddie videos as other great artists/vids.
Freddie's videos
I was born to Love you
Made in Heaven
The Great Pretender (my fav)
Barcelona
Queen
Hammer to Fall
Radio ga-ga
Who wants to live forever
Under Pressure
Also did the David Bowie w/Mike Ronson and Queen in Heroes (the 2nd version though)
So in fact, he was involved in Queen also.....

*Quote: But I have to say that since a long time I was proud to be a Queenfan again! This is I think the best performance they did in years. Finally the old power of Queen sounded back again. At least, this was as good as it gets without Freddie. So after being so negative about some recent performances I now give my both thumbs up. Wohoo!!*
I've seen Queen two years ago in Amsterdam during Queensday. They did a great performance there with Treintje Oosterhuis on vocals. It was amazing. So the great show in Capetown was not an incident.
I agree it's a shame that JD wasn't there. I'm afraid we will not see him agian, but maybe he will change his mind... I hope so.

Was nice to see the show on MTVE, was almost sleeping at that time, waiting for some Queen songs, and then I heard... Hmmmm, didn't like Brian singing though... And sorry guys, this wasn't such a briliant show I think, didn't see a person with Freddie's fire there...missed that a lot... no1 can sing as good as he did... that's a truth of a fact...
