Jealous? Yes I am. I am 41 fnck!ng years old and have never seen Queen1 or 2! Now don't that suck! I have loved them since I first heard bohemian rhapsody while I was in Jr. High or high school. So long ago I don't remember. But I must tell you this. And you better listen.

Age is so irrelevant!

Talent is talent and even if you are not a very talented artist, you still an artist. The love of what you are doing is what is important. Fuck anybody who says anything different. I love music! I sing everyday. I love all kinds of eclectic shit and try to stay away for too much mainstream. Best thing about singing for your own pleasure is how it makes you feel to belt out stuff you hold dearly within your inner core.

So screw the age factor and the glory days have their value but if someone wants to make beautiful magical music even when their in their fnck!n' 90's, listen and learn and grasp the wisdom in their voice.

Jacklyn,
I'm not sure which was more special.
The concert itself with all the energies of the folks around you loosing for these classic performers?
or
The special opportunity to listen to them rehearse and tweak their talent.

Lucky Lucky you! Cherish this experience forever girl.

Sincerely,
Rosanna

rosanna rosannadanna,

Yours was the first "angry" and "cursing" post ever in Queenzone that I must support!

So true it was that it made me laugh. Sometimes we have to say somethings, don't we? ;)

Nice to see a mature point of view. :)

Cheers,

Celeste you have a wonderful name.
You had a great opportunity and you lived an extatic experience at this gig. I am with you...i had a similar experience as yours in Modena (similar because of Brian & Roger...but it was a different show) and i would love to share it with everybody on Queenzone.I understand you perfectly...and me too, playing guitar, i could appreciate Mr. Brian May ;) So be happy, keep smiling thinking about what you have just attended....I wish i was there with you!!! :) bye bye have a nice day, Lorenzo

PS: and a part this little problem...HAVE FUN on this board!!!!!
Anything too stupid to be said... is sung.

Thanks all! The rehearsals were brilliant - it was almost like we were having a personal show. We actually had Bono strolling around the grounds, but Roger and Brian "hid" themselves very well - they must have sensed danger!!! I would certainly have kidnapped especially Brian and demanded guitar lessons...

Hello Celeste!

Glad you liked the concert, it's always a treat to see Queen members perform live. We Dutch had that privilegde too in 2002 during Queen's day in Amsterdam.
Most important is that YOU had the time of your life there!
And that was 1 of the things the concert was meant for! Giving people a good time, raise money for charity and awareness.
It's so easy to go critisize their performances and post negative stuff.
Sad to see fans who seem to have lost respect for their idols...
Brian works his ass off and this is the reply ...
Ignore those posts dear! And welcome in the Queenfan community!

Good of you to skim through the thread without reading it proton. Most of the people I read are balanced in their views, but you just sweep through all that.

Looking forward to any kind of Queen performance/release that it ISN'T easy to criticise....
