Not even the inside track from a local farmhand can tell you that I'm afraid.

Glastonbury doesn't usually announce it's acts until at least February.

And when they do I'm sure it'll be on the official Glasto site that you've no doubt already found and checked.

Yep these rumours are certainly building up. I remember last year the same thing happening and the rumours were very very close to the truth. Someone somewhere is always happy to leak this sort of stuff.

Well I haven't heard much from Glasto.
However, I might be reconsidering going to T in the Park in July, because Bowie and The Darkness are headlining this show.
I know that there are some Portuguese fans passing a petition around trying to get Roger and Brian (Queen +) to perform at Rock In Rio-Lisboa. Does anyone have any new info on that? All I heard that Britney (Twitney) is going to headline this concert in Lisboa, along with Metallica, GnR, and some others. I ask about if Brian and Roger are going to be on, because they are Twitney's chummies :-P

Rumours matter not one bit.
Prince would be booed off stage as Glasto and he's not the sort of chappie to enjoy playnig in the mud.

Plus there is the fact that it is recorded that he won't like. All in all, if he played it would be more of a miracle than Queen & Freddie playing next June.

When it is said that Queen are not a 'Glastonbury' band you have to remember that what matters is the opinion of the guy that owns the land (Michael Evis) - the guy is a bit of an anomoly and has a big say in events, so if he is a Queen fan you never know. I don't know how it would quite work but let's face it there is a possibility - I haven't even heard the rumour until now so it is probably bona-fide made-up shite.

I've heard another rumour - As iit is the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, NME have decided to let We Will Rock You (Musical) be performed in the NME tent as an arse-crawl to The Darkness who they completely and utterly slagged off in the early days and which culminated in the Editor of NME getting down on his hands and knees at a party begging Justin for forgiveness.......

As far as May 2004, it may or may not be so, anything can happen, and I do mean anything. Just cannot wait for Fall of 2004 cause Broadway will get rocked.

In addition to Queen, there is to be an Elvis play as well, and don't forget Taboo which is doing quite well I understand and Sir Elton John will compose the music probably along with Sir Tim Rice or someone else for a Vampire play based on Ann Rice's Lestat the Vampire novels, I cannot wait for that!
