During the "One Vision" video, there is a short clip of John Deacon playing the drums during the percussion solo. I was disappointed that Brian or Roger did not mention that during the commentary. I wonder why he was playing the drums?

We all were made to believe John only played bass... When they played live that was true, but in the studio John played almost everything - where do you think he got the experience to make "Man In The Shadows" all by himself? :-)

I was hoping that Bri or Roger would have mentioned something when that came on, too.
Along a somewhat similar line, in the One Vision mini-documentary, my absolute favorite part is after Roger sings a small bit, and Freddie and Brian pick up on something, and the three of them laugh hysterically. I never quite know what it was all about, something about Roger searching for the next bit, but to see the three of them, multi-millionaires all, laughing like school boys, is something truly priceless. It was always my favorite part of the entire Magic Years trilogy, and to see it again after all this time made me smile from ear to ear.

John only played the drums for fun in One Vision, and it isn't on the studio version of the song.
According to himself John can only hit cymbals and play a simple pattern

I loved that. It was so cute. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. :)

I know what was it going about.
They were discussing of how should the lyrics go and Roger said the part "one true religion" and Freddie thought it was great. Then, I don't know why, but Roger wanted to add the word "just" at the sentence and then it could sound like this "just one true religion". Roger was quite embarrassed cause he didn't know how to sing it or show the idea and Freddie told him to try. Then Roger singed the line out of rythm like this "just one truereligion" (truereligion very fast) and it sounded horrible. Then Freddie and Brian laughed at him (with him) about that cause it sounded really weird and out of rythm.
Am I wrong? I'm not english and those things are hard to get when they aren't speaked on your language. :)

I think you got it better than most of us English-speaking natives (myself included) could have gotten it. Kudos!

I LOVE the One Vision documentary, esp the bit where Roger's doing the hi-hat and he's got his eyes closed *sigh*
