Anyone fighting the flu?

My poor daughter has the flu and we have been fighting a high temp. (104.1) for almost two days. It's a full time job taking care of this yucky bug! Poor kid. :( Stay healthy, Queenies....WASH YOUR HANDS!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, i know what it feels like, I was sick the 4 days of Thanksgiving, with high temperature and in bed for 2 days, it sucks, and i still have the cough :(, hope your daughter feels better

I have just got over a very nasty bug, sickness, diarehea, sweating,thumping headache, tempreture but feeling cold with the shivers, 10 days it took to get over it and i lost nearly a stone in weight.

awww...i was sick yesterday and sunday,but it`s finally over now..

I'm ill. Mucus and high temperature. It's not pretty. Eurgh.

I have a cold, nothing as serious as your daughter's though. I hope she'll be OK.

I started with hayfever-like symptoms on Sunday (constant runny nose and sneezing) then yesterday I got up with a thumping headache which lasted all day, and last night I went to bed with the aches and shivers ... I slept in pyjamas, socks, with a travel rug and my bathrobe on top of the duvet but I couldn't stop shaking, then I was hot and cold. I didn't get up until 3pm this afternoon and I've no real appetite :(

I had my first and only really bad bout of flu a few Christmases ago and it was horrendous, so I'm hoping this is as bad as it gets this time.

Nearly half my school has flu-like symptoms - they may end up having to shut down again. *prays*

This flu is getting awful, all the rest of this week, I'm out of school b/c of it! :D hehe yay good luck to your school getting shut down too Mandy. :) Btw, have you seen anything about Lou Reed's book of photography?

Awwww, sorry you're all sick too. I had my flu shot in Oct. so I hope that works! I'm trying all of my motherly skills to get this damn fever down. The tepid bath helped for the moment but it spiked right back up shorlty after. The doc. says it will take a few days for the fever to end and then a few more to get strength back so all of you "hang on in there!"
