Hi, there's something that I have in mind since I first heard that song.
In the 1:30 minute of the song, someone says something like this: "Just to know that", or something.

My guess is: is the one who says that line John Deacon? That nasal voice seems to be hims!

no

Johns voice doesn't appear on any Queen album (Maybe he is in the WWRY chorus and the Seven Seas of Rhye outro, but we can never know for sure)

He does sing a lot on his 1996 solo album :P

Indeed, it makes you wonder why he didn't sing lead on any of his own songs. If I had to compare it to someone, it would have to be between Tom Waits and David Byrne.

FriedChicken, Josuecifu meant "Cool Cat fet. David Bowie". That's not in any Queen album. That is a bootleg. And, yes, I fully agree with you about his "Man in the shadows" solo album. ;)

Burnham, add 1990's Bob Dylan's voice to your mix. :)

Cheers,

although that line is more spoken than actually sung
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Man In The Shadows was a japanese fan club release. Quickly deleted it can now fetch huge sums on the collectors market.

Marcelle Marceau's guest vocals are to be heard to be beleived.

The reason that you won't find any mp3s is that it was the very first album to incorporate anti-copying software.

I've got a couple of spare copies actually, although best not to ask where from...

All sensible offers considered, as ever

Even though I already know that that album's not real, I should note that my CD-R burner drive can bypass the encryption on its own...considering it's a few years old :)

My DVD-ROM on the other hand is new and it can't bypass the encryption :P

You can't download Man in the Shadows, but every now and then it appears on Ebay

I already know that John never sung in any Queen song, but it's not sung, it's spoken, and that voice really seems to be Johns.

btw, I'm still confused about that "Man on the shadows" is it REALLY real?? What's it? Does really John sing or is it just a joke?

I really think it's Freddie(I'm almost sure 99%)... John doesn't sing often ;)

Actually, John does help out a bit during the last bit of "find me somebody to love" vocals in Somebody To Love.
