Okay, I have recently downloaded several versions of Silver Salmon, but due to poor audio quality/heavy music - I have been unable to make out any of the words. If anyone happens to know the lyrics, even if only parts of it, I would really appreciate to see them...

There are just 2 versions available on bootleg at the moment.
And the song was written by Tim Staffell (singer in Smile)

Freddie: "Lets put a bit of Silver Salmon, I know he doesn't know it, but he might just play on..."
Brian: "..But how?"
Freddie: "Just...just the riff of it"

Thats the little chat of Brian and Freddie in the beginning of the track
the 'person who doesn't know it', is of course John who is not playing on the song

I have the feeling Freddie didn't know most of the words. and just improvised and sang what he remembered

Sorry for the confusion by me saying I have downloaded "several" versions - I meant several different MP3's of the one version. Should have worded that better...

I found that one on the net aswell Pim, but read the lyrics and listen to the song at the same time. The one on the internet adds a lot of words, which aren't even close to what Freddie sings.

And the spoken part is totally wrong
