Today was my gospel choir party and we were people of all of the ages and their familiars in a concert hall. There was a band playing a huge sort of greatest songs and I was enjoying the party having a few drinks and dancing with my friends. Thay played We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions and I enjoyed it as well.
And then, a guitar started playing the first chord of CLTCL and no-one knew how to sing the lyrics, so the singer started singing "la la la la la la" and I, forgeting my shyness and full of happy indignation, jumped up the scenary and pulled out the singer of the mic and started singing it!!!!! I could hear my deep voice sounding arround the hall!!
Something has pushed me up and it was like I was in a full love excitement. I forgot all my fears and without thinking of, I just jumped up. While singing, I just forgot I had more than 300 people in front of me... they were surprised cause almost no-one dares to stand there up and sing... and I was like driven by a power, like a dream.
When the song has ended... I just grab the mic and screamed with all my forces: (in catalan) "LONG LIVE FREDDIE MERCURY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and then kissed up my hands to the sky...
My friends and my parents just looked me like I was a stranger, they were shocked of my performance. They told me I sung perfectly! The told me that my voice was very strong! I'm still excited...
Well, that's it. It's been an hour since then. I'm happy. I felt like a real showman (I also danced and made movements like going by motorbike when I sung "...on my motorbike.." and things like this, heheheh). I felt like Freddie would felt.
