Hello !! Me and my girlfriend are planning a trip to London quite soon. Is there anyone here who know some good hotels for a weekend trip. We want to spend about 60 pounds each night.
We want to get as close to the city centre as possible. I'm searching on the net right now, but if anyone has some tips plz help :)

If you are looking for a cheap comfortable hotel I can advise you Westbury Hotel near Earls Court tube station.

I just came back from a London trip a week ago.
We stayed at the "Arriva Hotel", King's Cross.

It was really small but not bad. Very clean and 5 minutes walk to King's Cross station and the Tube. From there you can get everywhere in London.
I've already stayed in worse hotels in London. I think the Arriva was absolutely ok.
And it's really close to Tottenham Court Road if you're planning to see We Will Rock You.
