Has anyone heard the part of the song "Weird Science" from Oingo Boingo where Elfman sings "my creation--is it real?" I think his 'is it real' line sounds quite a bit like the one in Staying Power. *shrug* Just my thought, any others?

hehe, it does :) And I thought *I* was obsessive. LOL.
If you have Made in Heaven, tell me.. don't you think the famous 'Yeah' is the same one from 'Action This Day'?

Actually, I think the MIH 'Yeah' sounds just like the one at the beginning of 'Don't Try Suicide' on "The Game" :)
Oh well thanks Deacon Fan :P
But that's cool that I'm not the only one who heard it. hehe
I'm not even going to start that "Yeah" thing again. ;P lol

I believe there was a thread some months ago that concluded that the "yeah" was from Action This Day.
You'll have to search for it.

Not to be outdone, there are two "yeahs" in Princes of the Universe...
yeah
I tried looking for the thread, but I really couldn't remember what thread it was posted in.
But anyway, if you like DIY this is for you! Use your audio software to grab the "yeah" section from "Action.." Then open up the "yeah" from track12 and compare.

Adam.

sounds the same
It has occured to me that although ti is possible that it has been taken from another song, it would make more sense if it was infact just from the Beautiful day recording session,. It is hardly surprising that Freddie saying yeah sounds similar or the smae on more than one song.
Maybe Brian and Roger should take all of the "yeahs" Freddie ever recorded and make a loop of them to see how alike they sound! :-)
(I forgot the two "yeah-yeahs" in Sweet Lady..)

I think it's taken from "don't try suicide"
yeah
lol

And this Don't Try Suicide debate has come and gone before. I too thought that. But after careful listening to Action and Suicide, it's absolutely the former.
It's all to do with the specific breaths, weight and length of time from the voice.
Don't try suicide was close, but didn't have the same feel, as well as what has been mentioned above. But of course, both are fairly similar because of the time both were recorded. A mere 2 years apart. If even that much.
Peace,
Adam.
P.S. There was never a real recording session as it was a Fred demo during a Queen session. One of those, "get this down!" demos.
