Does anyone know the story behind that concert? Freddie seems very angry and annoyed...Brian breaks his guitar chord and hits some wrong notes...and Deaky doesn't look like Deaky...is it him?? Freddie's vocals are outstanding on this concert, but I am so curious as to know what was going on behind the scenes that day...does anyone know or noticed this themselves?

John was replaced by a cardboard cutout in the late 70's

yes i heard about the cardboard cut out thing which is quite funny...but in that concert, unless they got the cut out to do the deaky bounce...looks nothing like john! or it's just the bad quality of the tape...i don't know...but he looks heavier and the facial features aren't quite the same...is it him or a stand in?

I think all the money they were making around 80/81 was making them very unhappy, does'nt it everyone, millions of concert tickets sold, millions of albums sold, biggest band on the planet, and the Greatest Hits at the end of '81, life can be so cruel.

for the string broken:sometimes it happens :) maybe beacause of the wheater, or the atmosphere (close to the sea, it's easier to break electric guitar' strings)

the concert is riddled with bad sound - theres a loud buzzing noise sometime in the first 15 minutes, and fred shouts at the crew to "get rid of that f-ing noise".
maybe the entire sound on the night was crap.
