Could someone please tell me who originally performed this song. All I can find is that shitty techno/dance fiasko by Shaft.

The version I'm talking about has a deep male voice and was used in the movie Gaudi Afternoon.

I'm humming it right now. Hope you'll hear me ;-)

The lyrics go: "When the rythm rythm starts to play, dance with me, make me sway"

Dean Martin does the definitive version for me, and is probably the version you're on about, although I haven't heard of the film you mention.

Dance Dance Revolution RULES!

I LOVE the Xanadu remix in DDR!

...I dont know but that would SO rock...
all I know is there's DJ Alligator project, Serena paris, chumba wumba *lists on and on* geri halliwell remix and...TAKE THAT REMIXES!!!! YAAAY!!! Oh god, take that, tee heee ^_^
I've noticed (however) that the difficulty of the game changes from country to country, in the US its medium, in japan its ridiculously hard, in the UK its like WAY RIDICULOUSLY easy...anyone else notice this?

If the next line is something about "the lazy ocean" then its definetely a sample of an old Rosemary Clooney song
"Normally i can't dance to save my life. But as soon as I step in dog shit, I can moonwalk better than Michael Jackson."

..summat about the lazy ocean fantasy if I recall properly...
I think all the versions are fab...and Im quite sure too on the rosemary clooney thing... but nevertheless...DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION! *SQUEAL!*

I have two versions of this song:

Shaft - Sway (Mucho Mambo) which is awesome I think.

Mellow Traxx ft. Shaft - Sway from the "Desire 3.0 After Sun mixed By Klubbheads DJ Team CD" even better than the first one!
