someone that i knew was pronounced brain dead this morning at 5:30 a.m. she had meningitus dunno what that does to a person or how it is caused...right now i'm just in shock :((

There was a meningitis scare in a town near me, my cousins both had to be vaccinated. I'm so sorry to hear about that poor person... The site above may answer some of the questions you may have.

You have my deepest sympathy NOBY - I too have had 2 friends fall ill recently. One is brain dead from a massive heart attack and survives on a life support machine, the other has had complete kidney failure, 2 years after a transplant.

Yesterday was the 1st anniversary of the death of a great friend who had been battling cancer and we all thought he was going to beat it.
Then he went to phoenix to tweak his treatments and while out there...............
he took a turn for the worst and......................
we lost him.

It hurts really bad.

I feel your pain but it's your experience bro.
