Radio airplay of Queen songs around the world

This is a question for all fans around the world.

Which Queen hits aside from 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'We Will Rock You', and 'We Are The Champions', had the biggest impact in your own countries back when they were released, and which ones still receive a lot of airplay today?

Here in the States from instance, most radio stations play most Queen hits from 'Killer Queen' to 'Under Pressure', but it's very rare to hear Queen hits after the 'Hot Space' album.

When I used to live in Colombia, about 2 or 3 singles of each album were played on the radio. 'You Don't Fool Me' was perhaps the last big hit Queen had there.

I think they play "A Kind of Magic", "Too Much Love Will Kill You" and "I Want to Break Free" pretty much.
I've also heard "The Great Pretender" many times

Great topic!

Here in Kansas, in addition to those three I still hear:

You're My Best Friend
Fat Bottomed Girls
Bicycle Race
Crazy Little Thing (frequently)
Play The Game
Another One Bites The Dust (frequently)
Under Pressure

In the years between Under Pressure and the Wayne's World sing-along song, I heard when they were popular:

Radio Ga Ga
I Want To Break Free (saw the video twice on MTV too!)
One Vision
A Kind Of Magic
I Want It All
Innuendo (this was popular here for some reason though 'Headlong' was supposed to be the single, I never heard it)
The Show Must Go On (couple times right after Freddie died)

And that's it :(

Unusual Queen songs I heard on the radio over here:

Seven seas of rhye
It's late
No one but you
Mother Love

And the play Somebody to love from the tribute, and invisible man a lot
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)

In my mother country Love of My Life is listed as one of the top 10 ballads since the song came and for over 30 years.... This is also one song that I knew Queen by, save perhaps BoRhap. People who don't know Queen know LoML.
Goodbye April lady, It's been good to have you around - Goodbye April lady, You've done a lot for the folks in this town...

I don't know, I hardly listen to the radio here in Germany and if I do there's just crap that makes you wanna smash the radio immediately!

But I heard "Heaven For Everyone" playing in a store the other day, and "You Don't Fool Me" was playing in another store just a few days later. and in the service station I heard that "Living On My Own" was on the radio (if that counts).
And last summer I heard "Bo Rhap" in a shop in Holland.

But I saw the video for "A Winter's Tale" on a german music channel just last week!!! And this doesn't happen too often....

Queen are loved in Lithuania and radiostations, who play classics, all the time play Queen. I'd say, every radiostation of that kind, plays Queen one or two times per day AT LEAST, so it's possible to hear Queen sound on radio very often :)

In Brazil, recently, these are the most common ones. You could whistle one of them to most people and they'd know it:

- Another one bites the dust
- Under pressure
- Crazy little thing called love
- Radio ga ga
- One year of love
- I want to break free
- A kind of magic
- Love of my life
- How can I go on (Barcelona never plays)
- Somebody to love (tribute)
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- We will rock you
- We are the champions
- Who wants to live forever
- The show must go on

In the past, these had their time, too:

- Heaven for everyone
- You don't fool me
- One vision
- It's a hardlife
- Play the game
- Save me
- I want it all
- Too much love will kill you (Brian's)
- Living on my own
- I was born to love you (Freddie)
- Made in heaven (Freddie)
- Bicycle race
- Flash
- Spread your wings
- Don't stop me now

These I heard once or twice:

- No one but you
- Cool cat (this week!!!)
- Innuendo
- You're my best friend
- Love kills

Also, in late 1991, I drove the people in the local radio station crazy, untill the left me do my own radio tribute to Freddie. :D
I remember that I played these, among others:

- Ogre battle (of course, LOL)
- I go crazy
- Machines
- Put out the fire
- Love of my life (studio)
- Don't stop me now (background to the end of the program)

Cheers,

Ogre-
