Well I thought I had this growing old thing dealt with, those of a certain disposition will understand the signs. The thinning/greying hair, the need to shave between your eyebrows every other week instead of once every ten years, pissing yourself when you have a good belly laugh, knowing the A Team will never get together again and the old chestnut of taking 24 hours to recover from a hangover.
Like I said I can live with all these things. I had been prewarned by my lesser peers, basic facts of life they said.
Yesterday, like a bolt from the blue, this decorum was shattered due to a song, a cover version no less.
Amy Studt has covered Sheryl Crow's 'All I Wanna'. For the first time in my life a song I remember first time round has been covered.
Please tell me this is a common occurence.
Regards Sir Archie
I'm still shaky from the shock.

Ain't the shock that's making you shake Archie, you old ruffian.
It's a common condition amongst you drunks.
Lucky for you the only known cure is the bottle, and plenty of it!

My dear Flashman as a knight of the realm I see my duty on Queenzone to extend the hand of friendship to our American cousins. Remember Archie's family motto 'courtesy is contagious'.
