Okay, it's just a personal thought but, how many years had to wait Queen to have his own hall of fame star? 30 years?

now, how many years had to wait Britney Spears to have her own hall of fame star? 3 years?

correct me if I'm wrong. if not, just damn in.

How many years will be needed for Britney Spears to be forgotten?

How many Britney's songs will remain forever in our minds, even in our habits?

How many Britney's cover band (...) will be there tomorrow?

I know it's not much, but it's enough to feel better, i think

I read in a tabloid that Britney BOUGHT her own star. Insecure little wench, hmm?
I noticed Celine Dion got hers recently -- but she DESERVED hers. Britney did not, and does not. Record sales or not, I don't see talent other than T & A. Her voice makes me cringe!! Maybe it's the raccoon eyes, I don't know!!

"I read in a tabloid that Britney BOUGHT her own star."

To be fair, she's not the only one to do that. The Walk of Fame stars do little to recognize talent when all they require is that the person raise the money and show up at the ceremony.

They may be nice, and we may think that Queen was always deserving of one, but that's not how the system works. I just thank God that the Olsen Twins got one.

Doesn't the Walk of Fame committee have to contend with letters of recommendation (along with payment for the Star) before even considering awarding one to the recipient? When The Beatles received theirs, there was a mass letter-writing campaign (of which I took part) so their Star would be awarded. The Fan Club and Apple took care of the payment of funds for the Star. Maybe Britney's fans did the same, since she does have a fan club and website.
Point is, though, I doubt Ms Spears' music will be remembered beyond say a decade. I have heard nothing memorable. I think serious artists like Norah Jones and Alicia Keys will be remembered...and they can outsing Britney on any day of the week!

As much as I hate Britney, I believe it is quite likely that she will follow in the footsteps of Madonna and make crap music for years to come. Lord help us...

That's the requirements for nomination. I somehow doubt the debates of qualifications extend much past a glance at one's criminal history.

Walk Of Fame Star or not, just like someone said before, Queen will be remembered forever probably, they're a legend Britney isn't.
What does a star on the walk of fame mean nowadays anyway?
I wouldn't even like to see a Queen Star close to a Britney Star.
