"About a couple of years ago, Pieter and I joked about who would be the next crap "artist" to work with Brian.. We were like.."Ha ha..yeah...what's next..BRITNEY SPEARS..haha..""
I joked about it on this noticeboard, and someone was like "don't even joke about it".
There we have it.

I used to say the same ("thank god he works with 5ive; just imagine if it was Britney Spears instead").
But Brian is right and we're all stupid. Can't you see how talented Britney is and what a great honour for Queen it is to appear in a videoclip with her for half a second?

When you put it like that, of course Brian is right and we are all idiots.

The reviews were 99% bad, a lot of people hate it - only stepfords seem to really like it :)

I went in thinking it was gonna be boring and as soon as I heard Innuendo, I knew it'd have its moments and be fun. And afterwards, I met Brian himself. Even better! IMO lol!
Peace,
Adam.

It doesn't sound all that bad...
I mean, it can't be any worse than Mamma Mia.

I saw the musical at Breakthru 2003, and it seemed like I was the only one who thought it sucked. Most Queen fans there could overlook the lame plot, but I could not ...

<<<"How many versions of We Will Rock You have their been over the last 13 years?!"
To answer your question, not counting unofficial remixes
Original Version (1977)
BBC Slow/Fast Version (1977)
Live Killers version bside (1979)
Rick Rubin Remixes (feat. Chad and Flea from Red Hot Chilli Peppers) (1991 - even though there was no new Queen material recorded)
Wembley 86 single version (1992, double A with Champions live)
5ive Version (1999 featuring Brian May)
5ive Version - Radio Edit (featuring Queen)
John Farnham Version (2003)
Pepsi Version (Queen + Britney, Beyonce, Pink) (2003, released 2004)
My bet goes to Robbie Williams next>>>
Uhhh... Dark, I think that list spans juat a TAD more than 13 years. Either that, Or I know nothing of how to read a calendar.

How about the reviews by Queen fans? Yes, some people have seen it and don't like it but I'd say the majority have liked it. It's full of Queen music, so people who like the music are better judges of it than the theatre critics - I remember one review where the guy pretty much admitted that he hated Queen...how's he supposed to give a fair review when he has to listen to Queen songs for the whole show??
