"I remember when I was Yoko Ono. It was a blast! But John took most of it! h0h0!
That..that doesn't make sense.
Anywho, keep passing the open windows...you bastards."
How'd it feel to break up The Beatles, you heartless wench! And you killed John! HE HAD THE TALENT! WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN YOU! WHY?!?!?!?!

I don't believe pessimistic is a swear, if that is what you're trying to imply (sorry if I sound rude)

Yeah - censorship is always the best way. Yeah - someone does need to get a clue ...

The experience of a life time! Try breaking up a rock group one day. It's quite testicle grabbingly* good!
*Not a gaurentee**.
**Not a word.

Bullwinkle, you obviously don't think of the young kids that look at this board do you?

And I request that Dark remove his horrible use of the word 'pessimistic'. It offends me greatly.

I refuse to remove any word that Freddie ever used in the presence of children....

They're going to learn it one day, I'm sure. My father always called me a cunt, and it wasn't until last week that I looked it up and discovered what it was.
Maybe that's why my parent's marriage broke up, because my dad always said I was his "favorite cunt" while he looked angrily at my mother. Good times, good times.

The day before yesterday, I wouldn't have bothered to say anything. But when I queried about Johnny Rotten's swearing incident jokingly to my hairdresser, she didn't seem pleased. She lets her child watch the earlier show and that's when it hit me. Sure, doesn't sound like much to a guy like me, but to a mother it's totally different. I just feel like being more considerate to others about it, now.
Peace,
Adam.
P.S. Leave it up if you want, but it'll find its way to some kid and then that kid's parents will hear about it. Oh well.

Honestly, I think the only time kids will go to their parents about anything, er, wrong on their PC, would be if they were getting porn pop ups.
My sister had problems with Hotmail because it kept sending her porn spam and she went to my dad about it.
But me, even when I was 13, I never went to my parents about anything because I never had porn spam (at the time). That was almost 5 years ago.

I think I'm going to have to agree with Adam on this one. I used to use bad language a good bit, But then I realised that it can be damaging to others. And I also realised that there are quite a few youngsters here. I know ther whole 'freedom of speach' thing comes into play here, But so does being a good example. Thus, I try to find other ways to say what needs to be said... Though I still slip. Now I'll shut up and let you all continue your argument or whatever...

Dark is a pest, unable to learn from past mistakes. I generally ignore him, anymore.
PG is right to be pissed at Dark, especially as Dark seems to revel in bugging him.
And while I agree with Adam that the word in question (not "pessimistic," Dark) is not exactly child-friendly, there are far worse abuses in the Personal section on a daily basis. Sexual innuendo and denigrating women is par for the course there. It's past being funny, and is down right obnoxious as a whole.
And Danno- nice sig, but there are better songs on that album :)

It really is a great album! I bought it recently, But had only listened to part of it until last night. I like the first track quite a bit myself.:p

I'm all for swearing, but the 'C' word makes me cringe a bit. I think there's an unwritten rule that only women are allowed to use this word freely. Did ya'll see the Osbournes episode where Ozzy begged forgiveness from Sharon for using it in her presence? LOL
As for the more common words, fuck for example. Freddie often used this word himself. It's in mainstream Queen (live) recordings without warning stickers. So is 'shit'. There's even the 'N' word on Queen II (March of the Black Queen). And we've got fully nude women on bicycles in GVH1, so while it's a nice thought to try and be mindfull of younger fans or those who might be offended, they will surely encounter such words during their fandom anyway.
